The DRV8833 is a dual H-bridge motor driver integrated circuit from Texas Instruments
| • Voltage Range | 2.7V to 10.8V motor/supply voltage. |
| • Current Capacity | 1.2A continuous (up to 1.5A RMS in some specs) and 2A peak output per channel. Outputs can be paralleled to deliver up to 2.4A continuous / 4A peak to a single motor. |
| • Logic Compatibility | Works directly with 3.3V and 5V logic inputs without an external logic power supply. |
| • Speed & Direction Control | Uses dual inputs per H-bridge (IN1/IN2 and IN3/IN4) paired with Pulse Width Modulation (PWM). |
| • Protections | Built-in over-current protection (OCP), short-circuit protection, under-voltage lockout (UVLO), thermal shutdown (TSD), and reverse-voltage protection. |
| • Sleep Mode | Features a low-power sleep mode via the nSLEEP (or EEP) pin. |
